Hello, my name is Daylon Barnes. I was born and raised in NW OKC and graduated from Putnam City High School. I went to college at the University of Central Oklahoma and completed a degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. I worked as a Personal Trainer and Strength & Conditioning Specialist for Norman Regional Hospital for 13 years. I did a 2 year stint as a Firefighter for Little Axe before I became a PE teacher and Coach here at Robin Hill Elementary.

I have 2 wonderful children (Kylie & Jude) that attend Robin Hill and have been married to my beautiful wife Sarah for 12 years. We have 3 dogs a cat and a horse.

 I love teaching kids the importance of physical activities and the benefits that come emotionally and physically from these activities. I believe in this day and age of screens and game systems is is crucial to teach our kids the importance of play and movement activities.
