Dear Parent(s), Guardian(s), & Students:
The schedule for the month of February that shows the 3 weeks of 1-1/2-hour rehearsals is below. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me on my planning time between 2:40-3:05 p.m. at 405-321-4186 ext. 112, email me at bdownard@robinhill.k12.ok.us, or check out my website at the Robin Hill School page under Faculty; then click on my name; then Drama section. Please pick your child up at 4:30 p.m. in front of the school. If your child is in track and drama, pick them up on track days where the track coaches have instructed you to pick your child up, but if your child is drama only, I will bring them to the front of the school like normal at 4:30 p.m. If you need to pick your child up early or ride home with someone else from Drama practice, please email, call the school, or message me on the Drama GroupMe app before 2 p.m. to let me know. Please remind your child of the following guidelines to stay in Drama:
Note: Reasons a Student could be released from the Drama Club:
- Missing 3 Drama Club meetings; Excused Absences from drama are: being sick from school that day, away basketball games, academic team, and doctor appointments.
- Dropping below 60% in academic studies or being in detention for behavior or late work for 3 occurrences – Monitored by Mrs. Bonilla.
- Missing any of the 1.5-hour after school rehearsals for 3 weeks before the play.
- All students on stage will wear make-up.
- If your child needs to exit Drama Club or decides to quit Drama Club for any reason, I will inform you, but I also ask that you inform me of any changes, too.
